Engineered with corrugated sidewalls and structural reinforcing ribs, the green box and green cover are built to stand up to the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. The overlapping lid blocks dirt and debris from entering the valve box to keep the area clean and is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. The box is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 100% recycled materials; the lid is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 100% recycled materials. Both the irrigation valve box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
